GREEN PASS: To participate in on-site (indoor) events you need to be in possession of the so-called EU Green Pass (Italian page - English page), or an official certificate from the EU Zone, Schengen Zone, Canada, Israel, Japan, or USA. You can obtain a Green Pass by doing a rapid antigen test in Italy. You can do it in pharmacies in South-Tyrol. It will be valid 48 hours. Besides BOSK events, the Green Pass is also necessary in many places like the University, inside restaurants, museums, concert halls, etc. From September 1st, the Green Pass (or an equivalent certificate) is a requirement for domestic travel on long-distance trains (Intercity, Frecce, Italo) or flights within Italy, or on inter-regional coaches and ferries.
The Research Centre for Knowledge and Data of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano is happy to announce BOSK II, the Bolzano Summer of Knowledge 2021, which takes place in and around September of 2021 as a follow-up event to the highly successful BOSK 2020 which attracted more than 700 participants.
Scholars, students and industry participants from different disciplines (Philosophy, Knowledge Representation, Logic, Conceptual Modelling and Ontology Engineering, Biology, Medicine, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience) will meet for two weeks of conferences, workshops and public events, to engage with the broad topics, issues and challenges related to knowledge in the 21st century.
BOSK 2021 consists of a mix of fully online as well as hybrid (online and in-person) events. You can find more detailed information and programs on the event webpages.
